| Molly is a commercial artist in K & B, an advertising firm. Scott is her coworker and best friend. They talk for hours and lunch together every day. Scott is very good looking and Molly has always been attracted to him. An experience at her previous job has made her camouflage her good looks with loose clothing and big glasses. She is also an artist in her spare time and has a show coming up. She only needs to complete one more work before she is ready, but hasn’t found the right model.. Scott has a sudden financial set back and is too proud to borrow the money, so Molly offers to arrange for him to model for her “twin” Mary to earn the money. As Mary, Molly can dress like herself, but the lines between artist and model, and friend become blurred and if the truth comes out their relationship will never be the same.
The concept of this story is a bit far fetched, a woman posing as her own twin to help a friend, but it actually works here. Molly has buried herself so far in her work persona, that it little resembles her real self. Scott has been a good friend to her and she wants to keep that while saving his pride. Scott has trust issues due to a manipulative stepmother’s lies, and Molly knows that she is risking everything to help him. Her fear of sexual harassment is a little over the top, but I liked her character. I liked Scott and his fat cat also. The creepy coworker is very well drawn, as is the successful female partner, who puts him in his place. The pair’s sessions are very sensual even before the love scenes, and those are very very hot. I definitely recommend this well written romance.
