This was the best story I have read in a very long time. It moved quickly, and the characters felt like real people in every way. The sensuality between Kalia and Meredith... and Erin as they make passionate love in this island paradise is outstanding. This is the first of Adrianne Brennan's books that I have read, but since I ran immediately to her website, I found that there are a lot of others to choose from. Blood and Mint Chocolates is part of the award-winning Dark Moon series. So, in short, wonderful book, sexy, likeable characters, fabulous backdrop to the story. The kind of story that makes you wish you had a few more vampire friends or maybe lovers. My only complaint is that I was done too soon and wanting more. Just like a yummy Godiva chocolate bar. Gotta go buy a book now!
