| Lacey has recuperated from the last enemy attack and her injuries have somehow enhanced her natural abilities of being able to adapt to any situation. Unfortunately, her body is also demanding sexual satisfaction and she knows just one man won’t satisfy her. She really wants Jason, who seems hesitant about a sexual relationship. But she also loves the way Junkie makes her laugh and gives her a feeling of comfort.
Junkie got his nickname from loving all women, and like Jason, ever since seeing a picture of Lacey, he has wanted her. Junkie knows Lacey desires Jason, but he wants Jason as well as one other. He wants to be the third in their relationship. Once he finds out why Jason won’t pursue Lacey, Junkie puts a plan into motion to hopefully satisfy all three of them, if they survive an attack by the Taurans. Madison Hayes has another winner in the third book of the series. Vivid descriptions that put the reader right on the planet with the characters and smoking hot sex scenes deliver quite a punch! Jason’s history is described in such a way that the reader immediately responds to his shyness and celebrates his victories. The toughness and tenderness of Junkie are perfect foils for his personality and the author reveals quite a secret about Junkie toward the end of the book. Lacey captures the reader’s interest with her unique ability to be able to adapt immediately to any situation, whether physical or emotional. Her confidence in herself and what she wants is a large part of her charm but her feelings for Jason and Junkie make the reader want to be like her too. Great characters and an exciting, different plotline make this book, as well as this series, stand out for this reader.
