Major Erich Stark, known to his fellow Air Force pilots as “Daredevil,” was overcome with emotion when he arrived at The Atlantis, a dance bar where women wore little and men wanted even less. After he was run into by the most amazing woman he had ever seen, he told his friend, Captain Donovan “Livewire” Leegen that he was going to marry her. They were both stationed at nearby Moron Air Base. Little did Erich realize how much she would hate his status as a pilot in the Air Force. She would especially hate that he influenced her little brother to become a pilot.

Bliss Esparza was a dance teacher. She instructed a friend of Erich’s, Major Tom Brentwood and, because he was late getting back to base, he asked Erich to pick her up and bring her to him for class. At the time, Bliss had run into Erich but didn’t know who she was. He did, however, jump to conclusions about Bliss’s actual job. When he showed up to take her to Major Brentwood, he was offended that she would be associating with him because he was married. She was upset that he had put her into a vocation without any real knowledge.

This was an arresting story about love at first sight, absolute attraction to each other, and dedication to personal life goals. Ms. Aliyah Burke has done a good job of following the plot of this book. Her main characters are dynamic, sensual people who get lost in the attraction to each other. The main sub-characters are well developed and interesting in their dealings with the main characters.

Burke’s storyline is very interesting and hard to put down. It is explicit and quick to get to the point of sexual activity. This is not for underage readers. It is, however, much more than a sexual book. It has a beautiful plot and is presented in a fast-paced way. I read the book in one sitting. I recommend it to others who love this type book.
