| Karisma Knowles is thirty going on thirty-one and she’s still not completely happy with the path her life has taken. Her grandmother, who just happens to be faerie, thinks it’s time she started looking for her mate. Karisma is more interested in growing her lingerie line and boosting her career. So what happens when four very different, very alpha males show up claiming that she is mate... to ALL of them?
The author uses some wonderful imagery in describing each of the Kanakis men. I could practically feel Jae’s dragon armor and hear Bailey’s Irish brogue as the story played out. As a reader, I fell in love with Karisma’s character immediately. She is the epitome of the modern, career oriented woman -- intelligent, creative, and hardworking. However, she also sports a sassy attitude and a wicked sense of humor that comes to light in her interactions with her sister and the men of the Kanakis pack. Obviously a believer in the “all work and no play...” theory, her sexual encounters with each of her mates was incredibly erotic. My only complaint about this story is that I wasn’t ready for it to end.
