| Hannah Martinson is determined to fashion the greatest day care center ever after being chosen for the job. Everything would be wonderful if her boss, Dennis had not chosen a certain man to engineer the undertaking. Hannah is not pleased that Linc Adams has been assigned to work with her on the children’s center. Fireworks begin when the two do not see eye to eye on matters.
Linc Adams is from the old school life. He believes that women should stay home and leave the workplace outside to the men. Hannah insists that she can do both, a career outside of being a mother. She gets under his skin and she thinks he is as stubborn as all get out. The two soon feel a mutual attraction for the other but both are fighting against each other so much they keep running into a brick wall. Now they must decide to take off the gloves and work together to make this center one of the best while building something together that could be life everlasting. Joys of Home is a story of one man’s feelings of the past that continue to trouble him. If his ex-wife had been a stay at home wife, he believes life for his daughter wouldn’t have turned into a bitter separation for the family. Hannah and Linc are two stubborn people that have trouble softening up but as time progresses things begin to change for them. Bonnie Hamre creates likeable characters making this a most enjoyable read that is easy on the eyes as two loving people seek to find something that is missing in their lives. The secondary characters blend in well to make this a terrific read that should not be missed. Sometimes opposites make the best couples and this delightful read is no exception. Ms. Hamre instills emotion, sweet romance and lovely banter in this remarkable read.
