Candace Sams has a wonderful imagination. The title of this book hooked me and boy, did Ms. Sams deliver. The world building is so real I felt like I was right in the middle of the story. The chemistry between the hero and heroine gets you from their first meeting. Not only will that knock your socks off but the interaction with the secondary characters is top notch. These characters were so well developed that they make you feel like they are major players. In a way they are and I for one, wouldn’t have enjoyed it so much without them. I hope Ms. Sams will visit this world again giving some of these characters their own stories, especially Datron.

And yes, for anyone who has attended a Romantic Times Convention there are several instances that are similar enough they will have you smiling in fond remembrance or busting out laughing.

To finish off, anyone who likes to read out of this world fantasies filled with hot men, funny moments, sad/tender moments topped off with a kick butt battle between the good guys and the bad guys should run out and get this book. I can’t recommend it enough.
