| Kelly Fitzpatrick loves her job with Jordan Whetstone, the head of the
Whetstone Institute for the Advancement of Sexual Research, almost as
much as she loves him. One Friday, Jordan convinces her to take the
Institute tour after she tells him that not all women can have
multiple orgasms. As she follows him through the lab's facilities,
Kelly finds it amazing how delicious Jordan looks and reflects what a
difference a few years make in how she feels about him. She is
impressed with Jordan's professionalism and dedication to the Institute.
Jordan challenges Kelly to a session at the institute, just the two of them. They agree to spend some unofficial time together. Kelly thinks Jordan is out to prove that multiple orgasms exist with someone who knows what she's doing. Kelly is going to show Jordan that sex is much better when emotions exist between lovers. Will either of them learn something new? What a fascinating premise for a book! There is nothing institutional about the heat between Kelly and Jordan. It is built slowly and skillfully so the reader can enjoy the experience with the characters. There is a discussion and a challenge. Kelly is left wondering: did Jordan mean to sound so provocative? And Jordan is a surprise. So smart and such an excellent practitioner of the erotic arts...but only for Kelly. When the tests begin, they do not start slowly. The first test is interesting and made me wonder if a test like it really exists. Before the test is over, Kelly is ready to consider the possibility that Jordan knows what he is talking about. The second test is light bondage with no pain. If this is new for you, then this may be a surprise. It was for Kelly. The situation, alone, was sexually tense and arousing for her. But she was ready to declare Jordan the winner of their contest and present him with his prize when the test was over. The third test is very evocative and sensual. Both Kelly and Jordan enjoyed it. The reader will too. Ms. Damschroder has given the reader a fun peak into an otherwise dry and scientific world that most of us would never visit. I know I will never look at electricity the same again. Although this book has some elements of bondage, it is very light and not threatening at all. Kelly and Jordan are delightful and charming people that feel real. I can freely recommend this book.
