Will and Rebecca had a history. Eleven years ago they were best friends. Best friends that loved each other and had trouble staying apart. But something happened. They hadn’t seen each other since, but they both still loved the other. They were working on the same case but opposite sides. Would they be able to find a middle ground so they could renew their relationship?

Ms. Trent has written a fast-paced, action packed story that put two alpha personalities together and we were allowed to see them sizzle and ignite. There was much more to this story than a lovers’ reunion. The combat encounters were not caused by the sexual clashes. Someone wanted them both dead. The myriad of other people—employees, bosses, friends, enemies—involved in the encounters, were a varied sort. They were beneficial in telling this great storyline without confusing the issues.

The sensuality involved not only the primary couple, but another as well. The sexual content was explicit and provocative. The scenes were not detailed, but the language was graphic. The poignant scenes brought out the background of their relationship and the electricity of their current one.

This book was well written and a great read. I recommend it as a wonderful story to be enjoyed, especially if you enjoy a little suspense intertwined with your romance. You will not be disappointed.
