When Charles spots Simon in a costume shop looking for a costume, he is instantly attracted to him so he goes up and starts talking to him. Simon, thinking Charles is an employee of the store, asks for his advice on what to wear to his boss's party. It turns out Charles knows Simon's boss Francis and also has an invitation to the party. Charles puts a plan into action to get to know Simon better. He tells Simon he should go as an Indian maiden. What Simon doesn't know is that Charles plans to attend as a cowboy intent on capturing his Indian maiden.

If the author set out to write a funny, romantic, highly sexed up story, then her goal was accomplished. While this story doesn't dig too deeply into the characters as she has in some of her other books, the story doesn't lose anything because of it. The characters are funny and engaging and you can picture yourself or a friend doing or saying some of the things they did, making them seem more life like. I really enjoyed the interaction between Simon and his sister because it was very much like what siblings would say to each other. The story moves smoothly without any awkward places. It had a little more sex than I like, but I believe that was the intent of the author, so I had no real problem with it. If it's not something you like, this book is not for you as it takes up a good portion of the story. The sex scenes are quite steamy and explicit. I did like that she put in an epilogue so that you can see what happened with them after the party, giving the story closure. Overall an enjoyable book, good for those long cold winter nights.
