This was a creative, adventure-packed read. Melaina is a fantastic heroine, I loved watching her transform from an average young woman to someone surrounded by faeries and demons. The connection between Oren and Mel was powerful and unrestrained. He was so strongly emotional and I just felt his frustration as if it were my own. The supporting characters were well developed even those peripheral players that were only briefly mentioned. Both the bad guys and the good were equally fascinating. I felt as if this new world had so much to offer. Can I just say I loved Lil. I cannot wait for her to get her own story. This was an imaginative story that I recommend and I look forward to seeing what else this author has to offer.
