Liam Knox has an engineering degree but is working as a well-paid male model. His life would be better if he didn't have dreams of women being murdered that seem to come true. He's distracted at work by gorgeous designer Ellie Bradshaw/Bassi. Ellie has dated almost every other model. He wants a chance to show her that he's better than all of them. Ellie is attracted to Liam too but she has a job to do. She has to find a killer before more models die. Liam seems to be the prime suspect since he dated every one of the dead women.

Rose Middleton has constructed an excellent storyline that pulls us in on the first page and won't let go. She raises the suspense level as the murderer escalates the viciousness of his crimes and Liam never seems to have an alibi. Ellie and Liam are well done as people with a frivolous front hiding a depth that drew me to both of them. Detective Kroger makes a great boss and mentor for Ellie as her feelings for Liam cause her to stray from usual police protocol.

Ms. Middleton's use of words paints vivid pictures of the scenarios in the book. Whether it's behind the scenes in the world of high fashion or wherever the story takes us, her word use lets us see inside the situation as if we're watching it unfold. This is a powerful tale both in the eroticism involved and in the thought processes of a killer and those who try to find him. People who like a lot of romance mixed with edge of your seat suspense should really like this one.
