| After surviving an attack by a serial killer, Cassidy Kincaide decides to write the book she's always wanted to. For accurate details she goes on a ride along with a group of ghost hunters. When the creep who attacked her doesn't let death stop him it's up to maverick paranormal investigator Trace McCord to keep them both alive in order to explore their new found feelings for each other.
This was a fantastic paranormal adventure with just the right amount of passion and romance. The story pulls the reader in right from the beginning and doesn't let go until the last sentence. Truthfully not even then as I cannot wait to see what the heck Wes has gotten himself into. This was such an enjoyable read with a great subject matter and interesting characters. Trace is so taciturn at first that I couldn't wait to read on and see just how he was going to soften up. Cassidy was for the most part a very sympathetic woman, it was hard not to admire her fortitude after everything she had been through. My huge pet peeve was the fact she referred to herself as a pretty woman on more than one occasion, I just found it annoying. I get that she was indeed a beautiful woman and I did not find it distracting when others referred to her as so. The secondary characters in this story are fascinating and I loved the little paranormal details scattered throughout. This one confirmed why Paige Tyler is on my must-read list.
