| When Jo Banks meets uptight Wyatt Haines at his haunted Victorian inn, she realizes two things. First he is gorgeous and second he thinks she is a total nutcase. Mr. High and Mighty does not believe in ghosts. So when Jo starts to do her job as ghost exterminator, he is not impressed. But something goes terribly wrong and Wyatt is left with two uninvited spirits residing in his chest. Jo has to fix her mistake, but she finds it hard to fight the attraction she has for Wyatt. Could two complete opposites find a way to love? Or will they kill each other first?
Vivi Andrews has written a very witty and sweet novel. Some of the comments that Jo and Wyatt throw at each other are just plain funny. This book of opposite attraction is solid as a rock. The character are great. Each one is very likeable and well written. They are full of personality. Take Jo for example. She trys to portray herself as the bad ghost girl, and it takes a snobbish workaholic like Wyatt to get to her core and find what is hidden there. They are all very layered and it is great to read their trip into self discovery. There are lots of quirky little details that are just great. Like the chapter titles, each one is a funny one liner. Jo's grandmother is another, that small part of the story is just so sweet and funny. A big part of this novel is in the actual ghost exterminating business. The whole process is very creative and described with great details. All in all the whole book was just wonderful. I think you should not miss this humorous, creative, romantic novel.
