| Keely Crystal is the Goddess of Deception but she is ready to give it all up for her destiny. She knows Martin Stokes is supposed to be her destiny and she just can’t wait to meet him. Keely manages to meet Martin early and unintentionally deceives him. Martin Stokes would love to find the right woman and he has about given up when he meets Keely. Martin and Keely discover a deeply satisfying connection more than either of them has ever experienced but Martin wants nothing to do with deceptive woman so he rejects her. Now he must either forgive her and accept his destiny as her protector and soul mate or someone else will be sent to protect her. Can he forgive Keely or will he let her go?
Fishing Lures and Love Tackle is a cute, quick, and quirky story. There are many fishing references with double meanings to add little humorous spice to the tale. Keely’s character is interesting. She is tired of being a goddess and wants more than anything to be loved for herself. She is just a little too impatient and that cost her dearly. But she is not a whiner so she moves on making a life for herself as a human even if she can’t have Martin. Martin is stubborn, even when he knows what he feels for Keely is beyond anything he has ever experienced; he doesn’t want to cut her any slack. I hope he likes being alone because he is about to insure it! I think stubbornness when you know you are wrong is just stupid so I think Martin deserves to lose Keely. What I don’t think is fair is that Keely may have to suffer for Martin’s stupidity. If you like stubborn characters and conflict, humorous situations and dialog, and romance with some very sensual love scenes, then this is a book you will enjoy!
