Jordan Dereaux took over as CEO from her father just three months ago, but she is not fulfilled. She could care less for running Dereaux Fashion Company that caters to the wealthy! She is sick and tired of attending boring meetings regarding products lines, clothes that she can not wear due to her fuller figure, and if it was not for her personal seamstress she'd be wearing jeans and tee shirts to the horror of her father! Jordan knows that she has been groomed to take over when her dad stepped down, but she would rather work in her moonlighting as a private investigator searching for missing children. Jordan can not believe that she has kept her secret from her family for five years. If her dad found out he would have a cow!

Jack Morgan had been orphaned from birth. All he knows is that his parents were killed in a car accident while driving to the hospital--at least that is what his adopted parents said. Jack and his adopted mother grew close when his father just walked out of their lives.

Jack's mother is much older than his friends' mothers and at a hockey game Jack realizes just how old looking she is--all most haggard looking, and he wonders if she is sick. When Jack's adopted mother died when he was only fourteen, he knew that he had to hide from social services and with the aid of his neighbors he got through school. Jack was alone now and that's the way he wanted it--so why did it feel wrong to marry Ellen in five minutes?

Ms. Allen spins a delightful tale that hooks readers from the very first page as she takes us through Jordan's adventures. I could easily place myself in Jordan's place and I could sympathize with her wanting to be fulfilled in her career. Ms. Allen reminds us that there are equally full-figured women in our society and that they deserve a place in romance novels, bravo for you Ms. Allen!
