Once upon a time there was a fairy godmother named Marlena. Only she wasn’t your average fairy tale godmother. Oh no… Marlena agrees that all fairy tales should have a happy ending, but she believes they should have one other ingredient as well – hot sex!

With a few tweaks to her fairy dust, Marlena accomplishes just that. Her stuffy boss Martin, however, is anything but pleased. He chooses to send Marlena into a few classic fairy tales to show her how the story is SUPPOSED to be told. Little does he know, she manages to sneak a little amplified fairy dust into each tale with her. Oh my!

What a light-hearted fun story! Marlena’s character is absolutely charming -- intelligent, humorous and just the tiniest bit klutzy. As a reader I could appreciate her conflict between telling the story the way she knew it was supposed to occur, and following her heart. Marlena’s desire to give all characters a happy ending mixed with her sexy antics is the perfect combination of love and lust. All of the male characters, hero or villain, were magically transformed into fantasy material with gorgeous bodies and a lustful twinkle in their eyes. There is quite a variety of sensual scenarios, including some with minor elements of BDSM and ménage. Some scenes also contain some male on male action. The sexual scenes were written with just enough gravity to make them stimulating, and yet enough levity to make them entertaining. The witty plot, comprised of sexually enhanced bits of various fairy tales was resolved quite cleverly in a way that allowed the main character to find her own happily ever after. This story was a delightful read, far different from anything I have picked up thus far. Ms. St. Clare’s humor and imagination shines through in this wonderfully sexy and sinful rendition of a few not-so-classic fairy tales.
