In Red the heroine is taking a basket of goodies to the home her grandmother left her. In the woods she meets a gorgeous man with wolf tattoos. Ms. Rayne’s wit, way with words and little twist at the end make the story similar with some important differences that make it a great adult story.

Cynderella has lost everything then is sold to the palace as a servant by her stepmother. We get a much better look at Cynderella’s family life and all of the nasty things done to her in Ms. Rayne’s version. That makes the ending even sweeter.

What’s in a Name? is the third tale. Tristan is given the choice between joining an evil Queen’s harem or pledging himself to a beautiful fairy. The choice seems easy until he has to guess the name of his fairy for them to have a future. Only in a fairy tale could the answer come out the way it did.

All of these stories are fun. A little mild BDSM and some hot erotic sex definitely make these for adults only. The characters have more depth and the plots more meaning in Ms. Rayne’s version.
