| This anthology presents nine wonderful fantasy/paranormal stories from authors such as CB Scott, J.C. Wilder, Ellen Edgar and Janet Miller. All of the stories are extremely well written and range from sweet romance to mildly sensual. This assortment of stories has something for everyone.
The anthology begins with The Beauty in the Beast by K.G. McAbee. Erik, the son of a once wealthy man, now desperately tries to keep himself and his father fed. His father has a gambling habit that caused them to lose their fortune. In order to pay back a marker provided for his gambling debts, his father promises to send Erik to Lady Arraine DuBois. Erik will come to find that appearances are deceiving, but if you know to look beyond the obvious, you may find love. Another fun romp in this anthology is the story Knight Moves by CB Scott. Plain Janie Lane can’t get enough of the movie Knight Moves and its main character Kenrick Bonel. She is unexpectedly mugged and knocked out and when she awakens, she finds herself in the movie! Can Janie find the courage in herself to help Kenrick in his quest AND see herself back to her own time and place? Smoke and Mirrors by Donna MacMeans tells the tale of Amber Wilson and Todd Fletcher. Amber purchases an amulet that grants her a wish but will she love herself enough to accept Todd’s love? These nine stories would be an excellent way to wind down from the day. Keep this one on the nightstand, you won’t be sorry.
