Black Hawk Pilot Nikki Jones has worked hard to get where she is and refuses let anything come between her and her career. But the man who murdered her mother is out on parole and her past is catching up with her fast. If that wasn't bad enough, temptation in the form of Marshall Eastwood, a sniper in the Delta Force unit she's stationed with, is bent on helping her and refusing to take no for an answer. Now Nikki's life is spinning out of control.

Marshall Eastwood is a firm believer that combat is no place for a woman, he's witnessed too much and his last mission only cements that belief. On the other hand, he can't help admire Nikki for her tenacity. That admiration grows when the very private and controlled Nikki finally allows him to be there for her. And so does the desire for more than just friendship.

I spent a long time considering the words to describe what I felt during and after reading this novel. First off, this book kept me up all night. I just couldn't put it down until I'd finished which was around five in the morning. Bleary eyed, I staggered to bed only to find that the characters and story had such a profound effect on me, it was a long time before I fell asleep. This is an incredibly intense and deeply emotional story that on several occasions managed to reduce me to tears. There was also times I wanted to punch something. The well-choreographed actions scenes were exhilarating. The love scenes, provocative and potent. The pace was fast, immediate, and didn't let up. This story never slowed. It was a roller coaster ride that I didn't want to end and I was reluctant to let the characters go. I hope that T.L. Gray will serialize her Delta Team based at Fort Bragg. I was intrigued by several of the secondary characters and would love to learn more about them. Die Slowly For Me is an exceptional romantic suspense with inspiring characters and s plot that engaged all your senses and emotions. Finally, what an interesting title, it just cries out to be read.
