Darius is a former colonist that has been transformed into something in between human and the enemy. He may be their only hope because of his knowledge of the enemy but he is fear because of his unusual looks. Darius must struggle just to survive. He wants to possess Knight in every way possible but he fears his desires may endanger her.

Dark Knight is an exciting action adventure that happens sometime in the future on a world far, far away. The alien enemy is seriously terrifying and the characters fear and desperation is conveyed strongly to the readers. This fast paced story hooks the reader from the very beginning and it is constant action from there on out. Readers will experience the thrills and excitement of action as the humans fight a bloody battle for their survival against an overwhelming enemy.

The relationship between Knight and Darius is complicated. They are strongly attracted from the very beginning but each fear what will happen if they let their passion rule them. Darius’s similarity to the enemy causes Knight to feel guilty for desiring someone that has killed so many of her people. Darius has dark desires that he knows can hurt the woman he has come to care for. When their desires demand to be set free they combust in scenes of fiery hot passion that will leave the readers’ pulses racing.

Readers will be able to identify with the feelings of each of these characters. Their emotions are truly understandable and fit with the situation. Readers will feel the pain Darius has experienced and hope that he will be able to find happiness. He is the hero of the story and will win the hearts of the readers.

This is fascinating story filled with imagination and creativity. I encourage readers to check out Dark Knight by Jodie Becker for its thrilling action and passionate romance.
