Jonas is a writer and a werewolf. He has come to Michigan to get away and catch up on his writing. He decided long ago that marriage and children were not something for him. He would never take the chance of passing his curse to his children. So when he meets Melissa and begins a summer fling he thinks it is a no strings attached affair. But it would seem fate has other plans for these two tortured souls. Can love save them or will they remain cursed forever?

Ms. Pape has written a suspenseful, sexy story of love, curses, stalkers, witches, and werewolves. I got completely immersed in this one. Mel is such a caring person, always putting everyone before herself and always looking to the bright side of every situation. Jonas is a strong, caring, tortured person who believes he has to be in control at all times. I loved the way this story flowed so smoothly and was action packed from the beginning, but I have to say my favorite part were the two main characters. They seemed so real. I felt their insecurity, their fear, hurt, and most of all their love and longing to be free of their curses. I would highly recommend this one and look forward to reading more by this wonderful author.
