| Kate Collier is a woman just trying to survive. She’s struggling to make ends meet with her new dress shop, and she’s also busy keeping a close eye on her niece, Veronica. She has no time for men, nor does she want to make time. However, Anthony Richards and Lord Jason Randall are not about to let Kate seal her heart away from them. They’ve returned from the continent and are ready to make Kate their woman permanently.
But Kate is not having it. After being brutally raped by a group of men, Kate shies away from all intimacy; even from the two men she’s loved most of her life. Jason and Tony know Kate needs them. They are prepared to go the distance, to show her through caresses and kisses just how much they love her. Neither realizes how the addition of Kate to their already very tight and supportive relationship will change them. Can Tony and Jason find a way to reach Kate, to help her see that they won’t let her down again? Can Kate find the courage and bravado needed to grasp the love she is longing for? The Courage to Love is an incredibly erotic journey of the heart and soul for Kate, Tony, and Jason. Samantha Kane has created a world where the three protagonists are able to find the means to break every rule, all in the name of love. The propriety of historical England is just another force Kate and company are working against, and it is truly triumphant seeing them come out on top. I really enjoyed watching Kate blossom under the tutelage and loving support of Tony and Jason, and even more wonderfully, I liked seeing these three work on their relationship together. Kate helped Tony and Jason better understand their own feelings towards each other. The Courage to Love contains very explicit sex scenes including ménage a trois and male/male love scenes. These are very passionate scenes that enhance the story in many ways. You’ll come away from The Courage to Love with a new resolve towards love of all kinds in your heart. Don’t miss this story. Samantha Kane is a welcome voice on the historical erotic scene!
