There was a serial killer in Tabor Heights, Ohio. His code name was White Rose because he always left a white rose with any communication (or body). He preferred brunettes to blondes and liked young women that still lived dependant upon her parents or school. He usually started stalking his next fixation before the body of the last young lady had been found. However, it seemed he had changed his profile a bit—either that or the chief of police had a "copycat" stalker after Hannah Blake.

Hannah worked as a paralegal for Common Grounds, a legal help for abused women and children. She attended Tabor Christian Church with the Chief and was trying to find a place they could relocate the latest target before she joined the other two in death. Common Grounds was opening an office in Tabor Heights; presently she worked in a neighboring town. There was controversy about this opening because a few men didn’t want another attorneys’ office in Tabor Heights.

Xander Finley was an attorney at the office where Hannah presently worked in Medina. He and Joan, the head of ARC, were excited about the upcoming opening. That is—until Hannah started getting unwanted attention. Xander was interested in Hannah (and she, him) but the situations seemed hopeless. How could he keep Hannah safe and allow her to continue her work and college classes? He was determined that she would not suffer from the same fate the others followed.

Once again, Michelle Levigne has opened the doors of Tabor Heights and allowed us a glimpse inside this small town in Ohio. This book was totally different from the first one. It was, however, an approach which was enjoyable. The plot touched on a subject which is all-to-common in some areas. This book was sweet and dramatic. The love of God showed through Ms. Levigne as she told this story. The characters were dynamic. The storyline was poignant. The outcome was unexpected.

I highly recommend this book to everyone. The principles were not preachy but did get the points across excellently. Great job, Ms. Levigne!
