| Det. Alex Johnson knew he was making a big mistake by going to Pandora Wilmgton's mansion without his partner to keep him out of trouble. Mrs. Pandora Wilmington was called the Black Widow around the police station. Her husband had been dead for a year and now her lover was found naked and handcuffed to the bed, two dead lovers in two years! Alex's gut told him she was guilty but she had a strong alibi. When that high priced lawyer of hers came to the station, it appeared that the men had fallen over themselves to get her coffee just before she waltzed out of the door leaving her tantalizing scent in their nostrils. Pandora had won the war hands down. Alex drove up to the hideous looking mansion in his rust covered Chevy and he looked at the perfectly cut lawn and wondered why she hadn't moved from this depressing place. He knew that she was very wealthy and could not understand why she didn't move to warmer locations. He rang the bell and the door was opened by a man in black from his head to his feet standing a head shorter than him wearing a scowl. Was this her new lover already? Alex knew that she had an unquenchable need for sex. Did this man kill her old lover because he was jealous or had Pandora asked him to kill Marco? Alex needed answers and only Pandora had them. When she came down the steps in that black see through silk gown with black stilletoe heels it was all Alex could do not to gape at her with his tongue hanging out. Alex had to have her and damn the case and his job!
Once again Ms. Dane tells a gripping story, but it left me wanting more. The book was fast paced with steamy sex that was HOT! Hmm maybe us fans can coax her to write a sequel? How about it Adrianna? Please tell what Alex decided! Is Pandora a black widow? Oh the possissiblities! Pretty please?
