Chella's Quest was a winning manuscript in Amber Quill Press's Heat Wave Contest in 2005, and after reading this powerful, sexy story, it's easy to understand why. The characters are well developed, even secondary characters like Chella's seedy supervisor, Sarto, for example. The writing is enticing in depth and richness. But it's the sexual energy thrumming between Chella and Kain that really makes this book such a delight to read. Their attraction to one another is obvious from the very beginning, but even more importantly, it's also believable and realistic. Suspense, intrigue, and hot scorching sex are skillfully woven into every scene to create a page turning reading experience that will keep you reading until you reach the end. In Chella's Quest, Ms. Bacchi has written a story that is impossible to put down.
