This was a well-written story that touches on the very human trait of a lack of self-esteem on the heroine’s part. Lindy’s confidence was restored enough that she was able to live out a secret fantasy, and to me that’s what reading romance is all about. Empowering the reader to embrace their desires just like the characters we are reading about. I liked that they were all ethical enough to wait until the business side of their relationship was complete before pursuing the personal side. The author makes the reader feel the characters emotions by using concise and descriptive phrases. The sex scene was a large part of the book, allowing the reader to understand the characters and the developing relationship.
