This is Kate Hill's second in her Carnal series and starts off fast. The chemistry between Elise, Verne and Ace explodes off the pages and keeps the reader's attention. Surprises are laced throughout and I especially liked the way character's from the prior book were written in. It made the pages fly by. The erotic aspects are tastefully done and not for the faint of heart. Elise comes across as a female able to handle herself, but still venerable to love and I liked that. Anyone wanting a steamy, attention absorbing book will want to pick this one up.
