This is the second Witchy Woes title. I recommend reading them in order because the story is building with each book. In the series six witches were harmed in some way by spell going wrong that was cast by their newest member.

This is Candace’s, an earth witch, story. After the spell zapped them, Candace wakes up on the beach looking up into the eyes of the man she has had a serious crush on for months, Brody, but he makes it very plain that he is against magic. He wants her to give it up. Can Candace get Brody to understand that magic isn’t evil and it is a part of her being not a hobby?

This series is delightful. The stories are charming, witty, sensual, and make you feel good when you finish. Candace character is fun; she seems unable to find her work nitch in life and has bounced from one job to another until she starts working for Brody. Brody owns a bakery and Candace loves dealing with the customers and the camaraderie she has found with the other employees there. Brody and Candace have incredible chemistry and their love scenes are hot. But can you love someone who wants you to be different from who you are? If Candace can’t change Brody’s mind about magic she will have to give him up and that thought is very painful. Brody doesn’t understand that magic is a part of her soul not a choice and he is driving her towards an impossible decision, Brody or magic. I am thrilled with this series and can’t wait to read the third title! If you want to be utterly enchanted, charmed, and titillated, read this marvelous series.
