Amanda Jean, A.J., Hanson wants a new start in life, so putting Cooper McLain, her ex, far out of her memory; she sets out to marry, Kirk, a much better man. When Cooper decides to make an appearance at the wedding, she begins to question her true feelings for Kirk. After Cooper took a bullet, he began to rethink situations in his life, and ending his relationship with A.J. was a bad mistake and he would like to win her back. After speaking to his Greek grandfather, Eros, god of love and desire, he gets one more chance to make her a part of his life. A.J. thought that Cooper was too obsessed with his career, placing her second. No longer wishing that route again, she chose to find happiness with another but this time someone is determined to bring her and Cooper back together. She never imagined she would discover a different side to Kirk and be stuck in a Valentines Day time warp trying desperately to get out until she and Cooper uncover their true feelings.

Call Me Cupid spins a story around Valentines Day that continues to spin like a revolving door for A.J. and Cooper. Poor A.J., I could practically feel her emotions as Cooper shows up when she is about to remarry, but more so for her when she learns the truth about her fiancé. To have to endure her ex, her fiancé, not to mention her mother, and those suspicious mother looks, that I could practically visualize, the poor girl really has her plate loaded. The addition of Eros is a great blend to the tale. Throughout it all, Sydney Somers has penned a witty read with strong characters that is a true delight. She delivers a captivating story that shouldn’t be missed.
