This fun little story brought a new kind of plot to supernatural books. This book is full of unique characters. There are succubae, were shifters, witches, wizards, vampires and more. While each character was complete, I would’ve loved to have read more about Kesi’s background. Her past was lightly touched on, but we were given a more detailed history of Zane’s past. Her past seems to play a huge part in shaping her into the woman she is today. And while we know that her past life was not easy and that she claims she has reasons to mistrust men, I would’ve loved to have read more of the details. Otherwise, the chemistry between Zane and Kesi is off the charts. Despite their trying to avoid each other and keep things on a business level, each meeting quickly heats up into something very personal. This short read is an entertaining story full of magical creatures and hot sex. If that sounds like your kind of book, go get a copy.
