|Ryan isn't sure what he is expecting to find at The Mask when he goes there to celebrate his birthday. But he knows once he's found it. Thomas is a Dom who is only there to play, not get attached a beautiful young man, even one who literally falls into his lap. Sometimes, though, it is possible to find what you're looking for without even knowing you're looking.
The meeting between Ryan and Thomas really couldn't have been more awkward or more fitting, given Ryan's complete lack of experience as a submissive. His falling into the conversation pit, and Thomas, is a perfect analogy for the way he stumbles right into his future. The connection between them is immediate, though Thomas tries to fight against it, and is scorching hot. Their sexual chemistry burns right off the page, but it's what goes along with it that highlights how well suited Ryan and Thomas are for each other.
This is a really great prequel for Melting, showing exactly how Ryan and Thomas meet for the first time. The story is fast-paced but that suits the length of the story and the content. Nothing about this will disappoint any reader looking for a quick, hot read.
