| Gill has had enough with her mother and her schemes, when she tries to help her boss find a wife for his son and takes Gill in for an interview she nearly has a fit. To be looked at and talked to as if she is nothing but a broad mare is the last draw and Gill storms out only to run into an even bigger problem, Cade. The jerk with the broke down truck is in her way and she figures she'll try to help him, if it will move him out of her way. She never would have thought that Cade would turn out to be the boss's son.
Cade had no idea who the woman was that stormed out of the building, but boy was she mad. When he realized he was blocking her way out he just figured she'd curse him out and be on her way. However they would up going to lunch and Cade finds himself intrigued by her. Then without a word she takes off and disappears, well Cade is not going to let her get away that easily. He knows that his father is trying to find him a wife, but for some reason he can't explain he has to pursue Gill. This book starts off a little slow, but when it gets going, wow, is it worth the effort. Gill is a woman who in intent on her own life, but of course has a matchmaking mother who is trying to get her married off to her boss's son. I must admit the so-called interview with the boss was hilarious and had me laughing long after I read it. The man gives new meaning to sexist and of course Gill being a modern woman is not having it. Cade comes off as a really nice guy, but you can tell he hasn't heard the word no to often. He goes after Gill with a single mined determination and doesn't give up. The sex is hot and intense and the plot will certainly keep you interested. This is a great book to settle down with for an afternoon of enjoyable reading.
