In a fluke of fate Jessica Tyson is kidnapped by a purely evil vampire named Raithe. The things she's able to survive are a marvel of strength of will driven by a goal. Somehow the love story of a pair three hundred years ago has seeped into Jessica's heart through entries in Farida's journal. Determined to find the tomb of the woman she's only read about, in another unusual series of events she's able to kill her captor and escape. Near death when she finds the tomb, her whole life is turned upside down again when she's saved by a vampire who resembles Farida's lover.

Joey W. Hill captivates me with this tale. Imagination, acts of courage that will astound even those who are used to reading about the paranormal, and a love story that is timeless in so many ways will keep the reader turning the pages in fascination. Eroticism flavored with bondage, domination and ménage relations is not for the faint of heart.

Unique twists to this book make it stand out from other paranormal romances. The story itself is one that builds the characters in our mind through many faceted looks at each through the eyes of the two main players and others they interact with. A truly different world is constructed that looks at vampires and other paranormal beings as an organized entity with a ruling counsel. For those who look for a unique book filled with a story told with expertise, romance and suspense, this is a winner. It's one of the best paranormal erotic tales I've read in a long time.
