Even though this was a quick read, the author had a message that was easily recognized as that of true love waits for all and overcomes all odds. Elisa was raised to believe men were barbarians who hurt females and only purpose was to give their seed to the females. Bruton was likable in that he showed his honor and commitment to Elisa in many ways, even when Elisa was being difficult. It was well written and the plot moved swiftly. Read this when you’re in the mood for a sweet story with some hot sex thrown in for fun.
