Serial Bridesmaid on the Loose
Kelsey always wanted to be included with her sorority sisters, so she made herself indispensable by doing everything that needed to be done at each of their weddings. After overhearing a conversation from some of her so called friends, she decides to attend the current wedding as a guest and not a “worker”, and to do that she needs to have a distraction in the form of a date. Zack walks in with an older “date” and Kelsey decides he is just the gigolo she needs.

This story combines all the elements I enjoy in a steamy romance: sexual tension, humor, emotion and of course, hot sex.

The Bridesmaid’s Dairies
Tara was miserable at her sorority sister’s wedding two years ago due to her fiancé breaking up with her, so on rebound she slept with the very hunky best man, Luke. As a type of catharsis, she begins an online dairy about her experience, which grows into a very popular blog and gets feedback from thousands of people. Unfortunately, Luke was the brother of the groom and the happy couple has decided to renew their vows, so she and Luke will be thrown together again. What Tara doesn’t know is that Luke is one of the people responding on her blog, and when he tells her, she feels betrayed.

The author has a great talent for showing the emotion of each character and explaining the reasons behind those emotions without distracting the reader from the story.

Wedding Wrecker
Amber thought she was helping her friend by announcing the friend’s groom was fooling around with one of the bridesmaids before the wedding, but it didn’t quite work out that way and Amber eventually left town. But she’s back now for another wedding, and Josh plans to keep Amber out of trouble while protecting her at the same time.

This story was full of sexual tension. Throw in a little mystery and you’ve got one fine read!

All three stories in this anthology were great and so realistic. From the jealousy and bitchiness of the sorority sisters to the envy as they supposedly mature into young women, you get a range of emotions. Add the reactions of these same women when hunky men enter the picture and you’ve got a book full of fun, laughter, anger, envy, jealousy, protectiveness, and most of all, love. Ms. Carr makes the read even more enjoyable by showing the strengths and weaknesses of both the heroes and heroines.
