Hoping to find a surrogate mother to have his child, Cole Donovan mistook Lucy Chapel for one of his applicants. Realizing that they had both had made a mistake, both Cole and Lucy tried to pretend that the attraction that flared between them was just temporary. But Cole soon came to the conclusion that Lucy was just what he needed -- the perfect mother to bare his child. Determined not to succumb to Cole's charm and good looks, Lucy soon found herself fighting unexpected events that will change both her and Cole's lives. But will Cole accept Lucy in his life? Or will he accept the perfect deal from his ex-wife Pam?

If you are looking for something to read to help you relax and de-stress, then this story is just perfect for you. The baby interview is both humorous and touchingly passionate. I could understand Cole's yearning to be a dad. But frankly, I think it would have been best for him to get rid of some of the baggage he used as a crutch to justify his attitudes towards his love life.

His intentions may have at times be harmless, but on meeting Lucy his reactions at times were downright unfair. It's never good to judge a person by what other people have done to you and for Cole, his treatment of Lucy was enough to discourage anyone at times. Lucy, you will find is very sweet. She's compassionate and truly cares about those who are close to her. And the adversity she had to endure at not only Cole's hand, but also at the hands of his parents and so-call friends, was more than enough for poor Lucy. Despite all these trials and tribulations, will Lucy and Cole will endure and will find the happiness they both seek?
