| Lexi takes her job very seriously and is in need of a hefty donation from A. J. Riley’s company. Unaware that she had already met him, and in fact shared a passion filled night with him, she's floored when he accuses her of using her body to garner the donation. However, her cause is one he agrees with and he gives the money. He can’t get Lexi out of his mind but he knows he isn't capable of loving anyone. How can two people so right for each other keep making the heartbreaking decisions of these two?
I have found a new author! I literally could not put down this book. The pages were full of excitement and emotion. Lexi was such a real person, with physical and mental emotions most of us can relate to. Adam’s past loss had really shaped the man he was in the book and also made the reader sympathize with him. The author did an excellent job crafting her characters, creating sexual tension and release, and pulling it all together to entertain the reader. This book was really a story that could be about any one of us and reading it will remind you of all that is precious in life and just how much we take for granted. I didn’t realize this was the second book of a series, and honestly you don’t need to read the first one, but Ask Adam was such a great book that I plan to get the first in the series as well as other books by this author. This book comes highly recommended from this reader.
