| Rainna was a witness to prescription drug theft and put into the Witness Protection Program. She left the program to try and regain some normalcy in her life and wound up in Silver Creek where she met Trey. While they were immediately drawn to each other, she's not only scared of making any commitments because of her past, she knows Trey's hiding something from her too. When Trey's past catches up with her, she is in a fight for her life and future with Trey and his pack, which includes his brothers, Carson and Donovan.
This was a rather interesting story. It's full of hot, steamy, blood thumping sex and has a strong story line as well. The author does a great job getting Rainna's hesitancy across while keeping the focus on the animalistic heat she feels when Trey or his brothers are around. The pain and guilt Trey felt over the death of some of his pack mates made him a very likable alpha male. The plot flows effortlessly from one page to the next. I like the idea of the Falls being a realistic sanctuary for paranormal beings. I recommend you pick this one up for a quick sexy read!
