| Belle St. Fèe needs to find Peter and fast. Captain H. is back from the abyss and wants revenge. She needs to find Peter to keep Captain H. from destroying the homes in Ne'erland. So she travels to his world to find him, only to see that his world has changed, vastly. Now people don't wear restrictive clothing, and some of them even have pieces of metal sticking out of the faces. There are also amazing new gadgets. It's listening to one of those gadgets that helps Belle, and her fairy friend, Julia, find Peter, or rather, Pete. He's attracted to her voice, and when they meet, she doesn't see Peter, but a very sexy adult man. But he doesn't remember Ne'erland, and while she's trying to get his attention, she loses her wand.
A Fairy in Stilettos was a surprisingly good story. It was amusing and witty, and despite Belle's inexperience with men, she wasn't a scared or hesitant when Pete introduced her to new things. There was a little bit of kink in Belle that was definitely unexpected, but it was a little cute, Belle being a Ne'erland fairy and all. The romance, while slightly rushed, was sweet and sensual. Pete and Belle were perfect together. Belle was a great heroine and she really made the story shine. She was clever and sweet, and her affected unconcern when dealing with Captain H. was hilarious. So, too, was her attempt to get Pete's attention in a strip club, stilettos and outfit included. A Fairy in Stilettos would've been great longer, as I'd have liked to see more of the characters, but there was nothing left out. It was written with a style that completely suited the story and shouldn't be missed by erotic romance fans wanting a little humor thrown in their stories.
