| Maggie Graves was a good agent, one of London BSI's best and trained by George Hall himself. Their relationship was not just professional.
We open the story with Maggie being arrested by fellow agents for being a traitor to the agency. After being taken into custody and interrogated it is concluded that Maggie was set up. Now after leaving the agency Hall feels he has not only lost a good agent but has lost all the trust and love that Maggie had for him. After taking a job with another firm Maggie finds that her life is still in danger and fellow agent Lewis O'Brien has been keeping an eye on her. Lewis has loved Maggie since he first saw her ten years ago yet because of her relationship with Hall he kept his distance. Hall had second thoughts about his feelings for Maggie and when on the verge of asking her to marry him he is killed. The news shatters Maggie and she again feels alone. Slowly it's Lewis who tries to pick up the shattered feelings of this woman who he loves and helps her love again. It's a great story and readers will fall in love with the character of Maggie. As her life is revealed in the story, we find her strength and determination are so strong she is to be admired. I loved the book.
