| Sara McGregor enjoys her work. As photographer for a travel guide magazine she gets to travel all over the country and see the sights. Now that her assignment is coming to an end she will soon be back in California and her humdrum life again. Her last assignment takes her to a ranch/resort in Montana.
Summer had come to an end and the fall was short, alerting all that the brisk winds of winter was soon to be upon them. As her car finally makes it to the top of the mountain, Sara has a moment to look out at the picture that was breathtaking. As she settles in for her assignment she meets Cal Person, tall, blond and all sure of himself, a real cowboy. Needless to say it was not love at first sight for Sara, with Cal well lets say she did spark an interest. Like most cowboys he was too stubborn to give up and determined to win her over with the help of the picturesque Montana background. Can the city gal find happiness in the mountains of Montana? I enjoyed the character of Cal but then again I'm a sucker for cowboys. I like how the author used the scenery to bring the reader into the story. And of course you know that the cowboy was going to rope that little filly. A good summer read but more than that a nice romance novel.
