| Disbelieving, city girl Sara McGregor meets hardened, flirtatious cowboy Cal Pearson. She a vegetarian, he a solid beef eater. She finds Wyoming beautiful to visit, but California is home, and he couldn't imagine living anywhere but Wyoming. Bound to happen that two oh-so-different personalities would end up in a matter of hours not able to keep their hands off the other. Sara, her life a routine, meets after months on the road collecting research for her latest book on dude ranches, macho cowboy, Cal. The two couldn't have less in common, but the sexual chemistry is combustible. Their short, torrid affair results in the creation of a baby. Neither realizes until this point that something has been missing in his or her life, until Sara returns home and discovers a short time later that she is pregnant. She decides that it is only fair to let Cal know that he is going to be a father, and both begin to think about what they could have with this new situation. Surprising for both, they discover that they are actually beginning to look forward to the extreme changes in their future lives.
I found these two people very likable because their personalities are complete opposites. It was pleasant reading about them giving in and discovering the feelings each realizes they have for the other, then attempting to make a go of the situation right from the discovery of the baby. The story is well written, but I did find the couple accepting this turn of fate, and so easily making the decision to become a family, a little hard to believe. The feeling of a emotional struggle didn't really materialize. If the reader enjoys a good "opposites attract" story with likable characters and spicy sex, then I would recommend this as fun reading and just for you. 4 Hearts for the fun factor and spicy sex.
