| Marty Andrews is in firm control of her life. An up and coming rep for Bobbie-Sue Cosmetics, she is well on her way to earning a sky blue convertible. She has even recruited two more sales reps. A disastrous sales meeting is only the beginning to an event that will change her life. Who knew that the big dog her poodle Muffin attacks is really a werewolf and that the little scratch will make her one too. After this evening, her troubles multiply and the only upside is the seriously hunky wolfman who changed her and is taking total responsibility.
This is a very entertaining story. I found myself laughing out loud frequently, leading to several strangers asking me for the title of this book. Ms. Cassidy has outdone herself with this send up of a door to door cosmetics saleswoman becoming furry, and having werewolves own the biggest competition is genius. Her description of the Bobby-Sue organization being almost cultlike is realistic and very funny. Marty has some very real problems with her new status and I totally sympathized with her, even though she was a little over the top at time. Keegan is the perfect alpha wolf with a soft spot for a toy poodle, and her owner. His difficulty dealing with Marty made for some amusing situations and some very hot love scenes. The author adds a very good twist to the story towards the end which brings the whole plot together. I have to say I loved the characters, the bad guys were very bad and the good guys had enough quirks to make them interesting. The setting in Manhattan and Buffalo was very well described; the author captures both places very well. If you love werewolves and have a sense of humor, you can't go wrong with this one.
