The Accidental Slave is another classic BDSM tale by Claire Thompson. Very sexy, with compelling characters and an interesting plot. I thought she did a really good job of portraying a lifestyle, not just a sexual preference.

I was hooked from the start, and really enjoyed the different points of view the author used to tell the story - Elizabeth, Cole, and sometimes Gary. I think it really gave the story depth. The opening scene was intense and grabbed my interest right away.

The love scenes were very erotic and, I felt, realistic. The sex seemed to be an extension of who each character was, providing a good sense of character development in my opinion. Each of the characters stayed true to who they were throughout the book, something I really appreciated.

The pacing was great, except towards the end where I felt like there was a rush to finish, although I liked the ending. This isn't the first book I've read by this author, although it is my favorite of hers so far. If you're a fan of this genre, I definitely recommend buying The Accidental Slave.
