| Wanda Schwartz is happily making plenty of money and moving her way up the Bobbie-Sue Cosmetics ladder when a doctor's message rocks her comfortable existence to the core. She is terminally ill but with two best friends who are a werewolf and a vampire she has options, doesn't she? Then Heath Jefferson calls and wants to become a Bobbie-Sue Cosmetics consultant and he bets her he can sign up more consultants in a week than any other consultant has ever done. But he's a man and a very hot man at that. When they meet in person sparks fly and Heath wants more than to be a co-worker with Wanda, he wants forever and he doesn't intend to lose.
There is more of the fun and entertaining silliness that marked Ms. Cassidy's first two books in this series to be found in The Accidental Human. This story is charming and fun with some unique and unexpected plot twist to keep it from being predictable. If you are already a fan of this series, you must read Wanda's story. If you haven't read any of this series before, I highly recommend you start with the first book, Accidentally Dead. Wanda is faced with a real dilemma, she is dying and she doesn't have very long to put her affairs in order but how do you tell your immortal best friends that you don't think that destiny planned for you to live. Wanda thinks that since both her friends were accidentally turned to their present conditions that asking them to save her life would be messing with fate and she shouldn't do it. I could understand what Wanda was saying but I thought she was nuts! But when Heath comes along and she learns his unusual story, leaving him behind seems cruel besides he is somebody worth living for. Now the story starts going where I think it should. Of course any character in this series of Ms. Cassidy's isn't going to find smooth sailing and the hilarity is just getting started. Once again, Ms. Cassidy charms and delights readers with the characters in this series as they stumble and crash into the ultimate solution and loves for their lives!
