Note: this story is a follow up to the novel AOEM 4 Play and I suggest reading them in order to have a complete feel for the background story.

They are the Alpha Triad, ruling faction of the Manani people, and their prime mission is to mate and produce offspring. In a society where the male to female ratio is 6 to 1, due to an ancient curse, males are bonded with two other (males) at birth and grow up together, taking as adults a female as their mate. Roar, Bayoh and Talh journeyed to the magical island of Chimera in the hopes to find their mate, after searching a very long time. Spotting the beautiful human Trina, they know in their hearts that they have finally found their mate; she is the intended. But it isn't so easy. They run into an unexpected struggle when their chosen partner is more distrustful than one might think, figures they are just out to bed her (and that as a mind-boggling 4-some in her eyes), and can't begin to work with the fantastic story they have to tell. All their powers of persuasion come into use. Seduction by three luscious males! As this book continues the story, she has chosen to go with them back to their home on the mystical island of Laiocean, where she will take her place as the Alpha female alongside her mates. But there she runs into dislike, preconception, and intrigue before she can solve the problems begun by others and finally take her rightful place, finally able to freely give the love and trust she has deeply buried in her heart, for her three mates.

This was actually a fabulous story, when read in sequence. I enjoyed very much the feel of want, love, and belonging that the males offer their mate. Sad that Trina was such a distrustful person due to her past, but bravo to her new men in not giving up in their desire to make her understand she is the focus and no other woman will take that place in their hearts. I found the description of their expressed feelings very warm and clear; nice!
