 |  Shirley Kiger Connolly majored in English and Journalism during her college years, then later became a graduate of Institute of Children's Literature.Shirley pens historical fiction romances laced with nuggets of inspiration and also writes nonfiction devotional books. When she's not writing, Shirley speaks at women's retreats and directs a large Koinonia women's community. As an active mom and grandma, Shirley loves rearranging her furniture, passing time with her cross-stitching or doing needlework, and watching old TCM movies, if she's not reading one of her favorite authors. A part-time farm woman, Shirley enjoys time spent with her chickens, her ducks, her dogs, and her cats.
