I became a writer by mistake really. Some years ago, a friend of mine asked me to write a sexy story so that she could illustrate it, and I thought... No way! Even though I was a voracious reader, I always thought that writing was what 'authors' did, not people like me. Not one to shirk a challenge though, I had a go, and I astounded myself. I produced my first sexy story! It wasn't the one my friend wanted, but one that I enjoyed writing so much that I wanted to write another. And another... And another...
Twenty books and over seventy stories later, I'm still writing and still loving it. And I can't imagine ever wanting to stop!
2006 is an exciting year for me. My award winning Black Lace novel THE STRANGER is reprinted in February, and in May I have a brand new title published - ENTERTAINING MR STONE. In June, my first novel for Ellora's Cave - LESSONS AND LOVERS - comes out in print, and in July, THE DEVIL INSIDE, another Black Lace title, is reprinted. In December CONTINUUM is being reprinted in 'The Best of Black Lace' series, and I've got short stories in two Wicked Words anthologies in 2006 too. 2007 will see publication of SUITE SEVENTEEN, which is a sort of continuity title associated with ENTERTAINING MR STONE, as well as a new novella for Ellora's Cave, which will be in a BDSM anthology along with one from top selling author Madeleine Oh. |
