When Tyler Garahan said he'd do anything to save his family's ranch, he never thought that would include taking a job as a stripper at a local ladies' club. But the club's fiery redheaded bookkeeper captures Tyler's attention, and for her he'll swallow his pride...
Emily Langley feels for the gorgeous cowboy. It's obvious that he's the real deal and wouldn't be caught dead at a ladies' revue if he wasn't in big trouble. And when he looks at her like that, she'll do anything to help.
Working days on the ranch and nights at the ladies' club, Tyler would be plumb exhausted if he didn't suddenly discover that the club is in the same boat as his ranch, and his beautiful boss needs him as much as he needs her...
"This fabulous cowboy romance left me with a huge grin on my face. I've been humming Save A Horse over and over again both in my head and out loud. Tyler is one seriously sexy rancher. I loved how torn he was, he needs the money and he loves the ranch more than anything so he does what he has to do even if he doesn't like it. But he does like his new boss and her cousin Emily who are both a feisty handful. Emily is a wonderful heroine she makes no apologies for her feelings and actions and is nothing but honest. I would have liked to learn a little more about her ex-boyfriends because she referred to them on more than one occasion but never went into great detail. She is a modern woman and she and her cousin and friends don't apologize for bringing a ladies club to the small town. All of the secondary characters are well-developed and I cannot wait to see the other ladies rope their own cowboys. I will admit that my favorite character never actually made an appearance but Grandpa's words of wisdom were wonderful as a red-head myself I loved being referred to as twice the trouble and double the fun. I loved the suspense element to this contemporary romance, it in no way made the story a mystery but it did add to the plot and relationship development. This is my first story by this author but it definitely won't be my last and I know that I'll read it over and over again. I highly recommend this story especially if you love humor and heat with your wrangler romances." - 4 1/2 Hearts, Theresa Joseph, The Romance Studio

An Interview with C.H. Admirand
By Holly Hewson for The Romance Studio
HH: C.H., thank you so much for talking with us. Your featured book is Tyler and its the first in your exciting new series, The Secret Life of Cowboys. Where did the idea for this sexy cowboy series come from?
CH: Hi Holly thanks for inviting me to chat. I got the idea while attending RT in Houston a couple of years ago. One of my author friends wanted to support her publisher and the Ellora's Cave models, so I agreed to go to a local club to see them. I don't get out much and was really surprised and totally out of my element when I ended up at a ladies' club! But at the height of my embarrassment (yes, we had a table right up front and I did not touch the icky, smudged shiny black table top) the creative side of my brain kicked in and I started wondering what would happen if a rancher was about to lose his family's home? What if he had to take a night job? What would he be qualified for? Naturally my hero would be a cowboy (did I mention I was in Houston at the time? <g>) and he would be the oldest of three dark-haired, dark-eyed, gorgeous brothers: Tyler, Dylan, and Jesse Garahan. The Circle G Ranch has been in their family for over 150 years. He answers what he thinks is an ad for a job stocking shelves and hauling kegs for a local bar…he couldn't be more wrong!
HH: What can you tell us about Emily and how will readers identify with her?
CH: Emily is one of my favorite heroines. She's strong, feisty, loyal to the bone to her cousin Jolene and their circle of friends. She's had a run of bad luck with loser boyfriends, but hasn't given up on the thought of love and having a man who will appreciate her for who she is. It takes Tyler a little time to realize that Emily and Jolene have counted on one another for so long, it's hard for Emily to let someone else step in and lend a hand. Once she does, her life changes for the better. But a confession from Tyler that he hates working as a stripper and wouldn't want his girlfriend working in a place like the Lucky Star have her questioning why he loves her. When he doesn't answer quickly enough, she tells him to leave. Ahhh…but fear not, I'm addicted to the HEA and Tyler and Emily will have their happily-ever-after.
HH: What do you like best about Tyler and why will readers love him?
CH: There's just something about Tyler that you've got to love. His strength and his conviction to do whatever it will take to save the family ranch, no matter what! Family is so important to him, he'll fight for it, bleed for it and rake himself over the coals for his family, the Circle G…and yes once he realizes Emily's the one for him…he'll bleed for her too.
HH: What can you tell us about the next book in the series, Dylan?
CH: I had a blast writing Dylan's story. Dylan is standing in for Tyler at the Lucky Star when he's told to lasso the birthday girl. A blonde, a brunette, and a redhead walk into the bar, but there was just something different about the brunette -- maybe it was the blindfold! Ronnie's friends want to surprise her for her 25th…she never expected to be front and center at the Lucky Star... or being lassoed and hauled in against the gorgeous cowboy's rock-hard chest. <sigh> I really love how they meet. Dylan meets his polar opposite: Veronica (aka Ronnie) DelVecchio, a woman from back east with attitude in spades, and a failed marriage as just part of the baggage she brings to the small town of Pleasure, Texas. Dylan fights his attraction to Ronnie, but a man can only stand so much provocation. Every time he sees the woman, she's bent over something showcasing her curvy backside.
HH: Will there be other cowboy books to come?
CH: Absolutely! I'm working on book three, Jesse's story. And then I've got my Cowboys and Angels series right after I finish Jesse's story.
HH: What else do you have in the works for lucky readers?
CH: The print version of A SCOT'S HONOR, book three in my Medeival trilogy from DCL Publications will be released this year. And I'm working on the audio book version of book one THE LORD OF MEREWOOD KEEP. More details to follow.
HH: How do you balance a writer career with the rest of your life?
CH: Some days it works better than others. I have a day job, a family, and my mom's in fragile health, so balancing everything is tricky. But with the help of my fabulous hubby and family, it all eventually gets done.
HH: If you weren't a writer, you'd be a...?
CH: I'd still do what I'm doing now, but would have more time to READ ROMANCE!!!
HH: What's your favorite guilty pleasure?
CH: Chocolate and Irish Whiskey.
HH: What is your biggest hope for 2011?
CH: That the sales for Tyler go well. It's my tenth book, but my first mass market paperback, so I'm crossing fingers, toes, etc.
